2022 Inquiry Period Survey
PVSC is committed to continuously improving the services we provide, and your feedback is important to us.
Starting March 22, 2022, we will be conducting our annual Inquiry and Appeal Period Survey. If you contacted PVSC between January 10 and February 10, 2022, you may receive an email requesting your participation in the survey.
All survey responses are anonymous, and the survey is conducted by a third party on behalf of PVSC.

2022 Property Assessment Notices are in the mail
Today, January 10, 2022, PVSC mailed over 638,000 Property Assessment Notices to Nova Scotia property owners. Property owners can find more detailed assessment information by logging into their "My Property Report" using the Assessment Account Number (AAN) and PIN on their 2022 Property Assessment Notice.
PVSC Assessors are available to discuss assessments and answer questions by phone (1-800-380-7775) or email (inquiry@pvsc.ca) Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Appeals must be received by PVSC no later than midnight on February 10, 2022 and can be submitted by mail, fax, email or in a secure drop box outside our offices in Dartmouth, Truro and Sydney.

Canada Post has decided to shut down their electronic distribution service (epost™) by December 2022.
PVSC will send Property Assessment Notices by epost™ to current subscribers for the last time in January 2022. After that date, Notices will be sent by regular mail. If you receive your Property Assessment Notice by epost™, please confirm your mailing address with PVSC by emailing inquiry@pvsc.ca or calling 1-800-380-7775.
Municipalities may choose to end their use of epost™ before December 2022. If you receive property tax or utility bills by epost™, please contact your municipality to discuss how your bills will be delivered in the future.

2021 Appeal Process Survey

Starting November 15, 2021 we will be conducting our annual Appeal Process Survey. If you filed an appeal of your 2021 property assessment, you may receive an email requesting your participation in the survey.
All survey responses are anonymous, and the survey is conducted by a third party on behalf of PVSC.

To help limit the spread of COVID-19, our offices are currently closed to public walk-ins, but we are available to discuss assessments and answer questions Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at 1-800-380-7775 or inquiry@pvsc.ca.
Assessment appeals must be received by PVSC no later than midnight on February 11, 2021 and can be submitted by mail, fax, email or in a secure drop box outside our offices in Dartmouth, Truro, Wolfville, Tusket and Sydney.
